Frame

Model 4250:
Table without apron frame (wheelchair accessible), solid beech table legs tapering conically from approx. 56 mm to 35 mm. Connected to the table top by means of a steel traverse made of 5 mm sheet steel.
Models 4260 + 4265:
Table without apron frame, solid beech table legs tapering conically from approx. 47 mm to 28 mm. Connected to the table top by means of a steel traverse made of 5 mm sheet steel. The Coffeetable models 4260 + 4265 feature three frame legs for round tops of Ø 60 cm and Ø 70 cm; the pebble-shaped tops feature 4 legs.


Frame Surface

Table legs finished in natural lacquer as standard, optionally stained according to the BRUNE® collection. Steel traverse white powder-coated for HPL coating, black powder-coated for veneer coating.
 

Table Tops

Top C:

30 mm thick, high-quality multi-layer chipboard E1, top side optionally high-pressure laminate (HPL) or veneer according to the BRUNE® collection. Bottom side HPL white or beech veneer. Edge straight, 2 mm thick, plastic for plastic surfaces and veneer for veneer surfaces.    


Top R:

30 mm thick, MDF, top side optionally with high-pressure laminate (HPL) or veneer according to the BRUNE® collection. Bottom side HPL white or beech veneer. MDF edge, with a straight edge, 10 mm thick, beveling downwards over 45 mm. MDF edge stained and lacquered. For veneer, straight edge veneer, beveled edge MDF, stained and lacquered.    

Model 4250: Table top corners rounded R50 mm.
Models 4260 + 4265: Table top corners rounded R80 mm.


Veneer Surface

Solid beech wood frame finished in natural lacquer as standard with low-solvent water-based lacquer, optionally stained according to the BRUNE® collection. Real wood veneer from the BRUNE® collection finished in natural lacquer as standard with low-solvent water-based lacquer, optionally stained according to the BRUNE® collection.
 

HPL Surface

Original Resopal® HPL from the BRUNE® collection.

 

Glides

Optionally, the table can be equipped with plastic, felt, or metal glides.

Uwe Sommerlade

Uwe Sommerlade

Uwe Sommerlade (born 1961) is the son of a civil engineer, and as such had early discovered his passion for design. He has already been sitting in the office of his father when he was a child, and there he drafted his first houses and objects. In his youth, he learned dealing with wood in the cabinet-making of his grandfather. After his Abitur and the successful completion of his apprenticeship as cabinet maker, he started studying design in Kassel. In 1991, he founded the office Lepper Schmidt Sommerlade designer with two partners there. Since then he has developed internationally successful products for renowned companies. After the death of Christian Lepper in 2011, he founded his own studio.
National and international awards confirm the quality of his work.
Uwe Sommerlade is lives and works in Kassel.
