Seating

MID

MID - a versatile family of chairs designed with a special focus on use in the medical environment. Due to its easy-to-clean detail solutions without visible screw connections and its comfort, MID is suitable as a chair in the patient room but also as a meeting chair in the conference room. It is stackable, and the seat and back are available in veneer and upholstered. A raised back cushion is also available. In the reduced design with clear lines and gentle organic curves of the molded wood elements, features of the eponymous Mid-century modern style are reflected.

Frame

4-legged frame made of round steel tube Ø 22 x 2 mm. Front feet and bottom seat frame made of one tube, welded to rear feet.

 

Frame Surface

Frame chrome-plated as standard, optionally powder-coated according to BRUNE® collection.

 

Seat + Back

Seat and back made of ergonomically shaped beech plywood, 10 mm thick, multi-bonded, back screwed to the frame invisibly by means of innovative fastening element. Trapezoidal seat, not visibly screwed to the frame from above.

 

Wooden surface

Wooden parts standard beech, with low-solvent water-based varnish, natural finish, optionally stained according to BRUNE® collection.

 

Fabric cover

Seat or seat and back fully upholstered, fabric cover of choice from BRUNE fabric group 3, 4, 6, 7 or 8.

Seat cusion foam: RG/SH 35/50 ca. 25 mm thick
Back foam: RG/SH 35/50 ca. 15 mm thick

Eduard Euwens

Eduard Euwens

Eduard Euwens (born 1970) completed an apprenticeship as cabinet maker before he started studying design in Münster. In 2000 he finished his studies as diploma designer and since then acquired experience as designer in several offices. Since 2004, he dedicated himself to the development of goods for daily use with his own studio. His works for BRUNE have already been acknowledged by the design council.
Eduard Euwens is living and working in Münster.
