AXIO

Frame
4-legged base, optionally with armrests, made of precision steel tube ZSTE 420, 20 x 2 mm. Armrests optionally upholstered or with wooden armrest.
Frame surfaces
Standard version of the frame: chrome-plated, optionally powder-coated according to the BRUNE® collection.
Seat shell
Ergonomically shaped one-piece shell made of moulded beech wood, 10 mm thick, glued several times. The back tapers slightly towards the top. The shell is invisibly fixed to the base frame by means of M6 threaded sleeves.
Wooden surfaces
Wooden parts natural lacquered beech as standard (optionally matt) with low-solvent water-based lacquer, optionally stained according to BRUNE® collection.

Ivo Schelle & Jonas Kressel
The industrial designers Jonas Kressel (1961) and Ivo Schelle (1962) met during their MA Industrial Design studies in Kiel. In 1992 they founded the design studio kressel + schelle design in their hometown of Hamburg. Since then, they have been working successfully with leading international furniture and lighting manufacturers. For Jonas Kressel and Ivo Schelle, the focus in the search for new product solutions is on functionality and detail: "We search for the solution in the detail". kressel + schelle design has been awarded with nearly all major German design prizes.
